Anaesthesiology
Anaesthesiology department headed by Prof.Dr.M.Suresh extends good Anaesthesia services to all the needy patients of the Nalam Hospital. Besides regular Anaesthesia services like Regional Anaesthesia and General Anaesthesia, the Department is also specialised for child care anaesthesia, Painless Labour epidurals and ultrasound guided regional Nerve Blocks which are done with high standards. Critical Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit of Nalam is well equipped with all life saving gadgets like centralized oxygen, highflow oxygen, ventilator, defibrillator, emergency (ever ready) crash cart with all life saving medicines and multi-parameter high end monitors. General Medicine
The General Medicine department headed by Dr.M.Prabhu Kumar is one of the important Units of Nalam Hospital providing appropriate medical care to our patients. Preoperatively, all the Surgical cases are evaluated in detail and they get operated only after Physician’s expert opinion regarding their fitness of health to undergo the Surgical Procedures. This Unit also provides appreciable Post-Operative followup care to achieve safe convalescence from major surgeries.
